Porcelain fillings

Porcelain inlays and onlays are indirect restorations. This means that they are made outside the mouth and fitted as a one solid piece after fabrication in a laboratory.

The restoration is cemented into place. Onlays are indicated for large fillings that extend to the cusps (pointy bits) of back molar teeth and premolar teeth.

You will have a temporary restoration in between appointments.
